The "véloroute" or "voie verte" is an ideal cycling route to discover the Burgundian vineyards.
To brighten up your journey, the Côte en 2 roues offers you a stop (cellar visit + tasting). You will be able to make a stopover either :
1. Caveau Moillard in Nuits Saint Georges
Since 1850 (the date of its creation), the Moillard house has been carrying out a long work of vinification and maturing, which brings the wines to their full development. By favouring long vatting periods with limited human intervention, the expression of the terroirs and the highlighting of the climates (so representative of the Côte de Nuits and Beaune) is preserved.
2. Castle of Villars Fontaine : Domain of Montmain
"Good things take time. Discover an original winery where you will find Burgundy wines from the 1989 vintage to today. Domaine de Montmain is one of the few estates still producing wines for laying down in the purest Burgundian tradition, allowing the bottles to improve for more than 20 years.
